One API key
for more than one model
For people who already call Codex, Claude Code, or more than one lab: compare real API cost, then decide whether an Ofox account is worth it. We do not promise that every model is cheaper than the official API.
We are an independent guide and referral site. We are not affiliated with Codex, Anthropic, Cursor or Ofox. A third-party API balance is not a subscription to those tools.
Ofox’s partner page says a referred user’s first top-up can include an extra $3 credit. Ofox pays that credit. It is not taken from referral commission, and JXZNE does not pay it. Eligibility is Ofox’s current rule. Ofox Partner, reviewed 2026-10-29.
Cheaper is not the only reason to use one endpoint

Ofox says mainstream models are billed at the provider’s published list price and that the platform fee is 0%. That is their statement, not our guarantee. A direct enterprise discount from the lab can still be better. Ofox enterprise page · changelog, reviewed 2026-10-29.
Fewer places to configure
One provider can save setup time if you already use several SDKs and CLIs. Compatibility still has to be tested. Codex CLI and Claude Code are not verified on this site.
How to choose
One model for the long haul, and you want the lab’s own support: compare the official API first. You switch among GPT, Claude and Gemini often: compare Ofox on convenience and the rate you can actually see.

Direct purchase and native features. Fits a single model when you want the lab’s own support. Compare batch and cache prices, not just the headline token rate.
Ofox
One balance can be more convenient. Check the model rate, any fee they actually charge, protocol support and data terms. A lower price is not guaranteed.
OpenRouter-style aggregators
Another multi-model route. Compare credit fees, BYOK and tool support, not only the model sticker price. OpenRouter’s own page listed a platform fee when we read it on 2026-10-29.
Ofox’s $3 credit on the first top-up
Ofox’s partner rules say a qualifying new user who signs up through a referral and completes a first top-up can receive an extra $3 credit. Ofox funds it. The affiliate does not pay it, and it is not deducted from commission. Whether it lands depends on Ofox’s current checkout. Sources, reviewed 2026-10-29: Ofox Partner and changelog v1.0.54.
Spending $100–$200 a month? Price the move

These badges follow ofox-smoke-status.json. They stay unverified unless tests/ofox_smoke.py exits 0 on GitHub Actions with a real key. This environment has not recorded that pass. Codex CLI and Claude Code are outside that script even if the API smoke later passes.

Official rates below cite the lab’s pricing page. Ofox rates are filled only when the public catalog returns a per-token price, or from the last recorded observation of that catalog. If neither is available, the Ofox fields stay empty. We do not invent a discount. Compare the same model, billing mode and token volume.

The browser asks Ofox’s public catalog directly and does not send a secret. If the browser blocks that cross-origin read, the page can show the last observation stored in ofox-public-prices.json, with the time it was fetched. A missing model stays blank. Claude Sonnet 4.6 was not in the catalog response recorded on 2026-10-29, so that row is not given an Ofox price. Ofox’s marketing pages still name Claude. Treat availability as unconfirmed until you see it on their site.

Check Ofox’s live rate, model list, payment methods and the first-top-up offer. The extra $3, if you qualify, is Ofox’s credit, not a payment from this site. No JXZNE account is required.

Questions people ask first
Do I need a JXZNE account?
No. JXZNE is a free guide. When you want an API, you register at Ofox. The account, the balance and the key are on their side.
Does a ChatGPT or Claude subscription count as API credit?
Usually no. Chat subscriptions and API usage are billed separately, and a third-party balance is a third account. Check the plan you are actually buying.
Can I test the config without adding credit?
You can read the steps. A real model call usually needs a balance. Promotions and free credit follow Ofox’s current page. We do not promise a call with a zero balance.
Can I point Cursor straight at a third-party API?
Not every Cursor feature accepts a custom API. Ofox says direct Cursor integration is unsuitable. A configured CLI inside Cursor’s terminal is the path they describe. It still depends on the client version.
Will a specific card or network work?
Payment methods, countries and access limits change. Use the provider’s checkout and your local rules. This site cannot promise that a given card or network succeeds.
Why doesn’t this site ask for an API key?
A key is a credential. It belongs at the provider, on your machine, or in a backend you trust. Do not paste a live key into JXZNE or into any form you do not trust.
